Carla Prezioso is a researcher financed by Italian Ministry of Health, Bando della Ricerca Finalizzata 2018, From 1^st November 2019 she started her PhD studies in Infectious Diseases, Microbiology and Public Health, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.

She is co-author of 27 publications, 4 oral communications and 20 between Poster and Abstract presented to National and International Congresses.

Her main research interest is in the field of Human Polyomaviruses JC and of Merkel Cell Polyomavirus, aetiological agents of Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy and Merkel cell carcinoma, respectivetly.
